What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call her up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.

About My Books

The Voice of submission
In The Voice of Submission: Discovering What Women Want Men To Know & Do To Ignite Their Submission, Rosina Teye Appiah (Dolly) provides a refreshing and modern look into the misunderstood concept of submission within relationships.

Love in Double

Ama is a woman torn between worlds. Bound by her family’s expectations in her vibrant African city, she is faced with two choices: Kojo, the stable, traditional partner who represents everything her family desires, and Kwame, a free-spirited artist who awakens her passion for life.

Inspirations

At times, while writing, I would avoid conversations with other people to avoid getting distracted yet, somehow, always end up having made no progress at all. This is because I remained uninspired and unmotivated. Once I stopped freaking out about having no time to write, and instead spent a little more time greeting people and saying yes to coffee outings, I opened the door to more meaningful conversations with my University of North Dakota peers. Every interaction has taught me something new — a concept to think about and maybe write about, ranging from gene-editing techniques to service work in the Bay Area.
